BrightSpark receives no government funding. Through wise investment of funds entrusted to the organisation many years ago, we are currently able to offer five fellowships for emerging scientists. 

The foundation operates on minimal infrastructure and overheads resulting in optimum distribution of funds to actual research. We value support from Western Australian businesses which generously provide in kind support.
