The Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club (RFBYC) and BrightSpark proudly acknowledge the successful completion of their two-year philanthropic campaign and community awareness collaboration, which has played a vital role in advancing child health research in Western Australia.
In 2023, RFBYC selected BrightSpark as its nominated charity to support for a 2-year period. Over the past two years, RFBYC has hosted multiple fundraising events, bringing together the club’s members and the wider community to support BrightSpark’s mission to financially support WA’s emerging child health researchers. The generous contributions from RFBYC’s members have directly impacted early-career researchers, helping them drive critical advances in child health research.
BrightSpark Chair, Graham Dowland, reflected on the impact of the partnership:
As the partnership draws to a close, BrightSpark extends its deepest gratitude to RFBYC and its members for their commitment to strengthening child health research. While this formal collaboration has concluded, there will be a lasting impact from their contributions.
